Spotted: B. and C. in Alabama, Missouri, Mississipi and Florida

Recession again... But wait. Who wants to spend its vacation near oil rigs and Walmart SuperStores?

It ain't the UES for sure. But Gulf Coast Beaches are so nice.

Plus, you can always find a bunch of friends to swim 2.4 miles with you early in the morning.

The Hamptons are SO over-rated -- don't you think?
Xoxo.

Spotted: C. the Bricol' Girl of the UES

Recession, recession. Forget about Crate and Barrel or custom-made window shades... It is time for a little DIY with the help of IKEA.

But do you need an Engineer's diploma to install roller blinds? It seems so. Maybe we should just stick to pumpkin carving after all... Happy Halloween.

Spotted: B. @Lake Placid

Every great leader knows, you don't send your boy on the field unarmed. So B. will be adequately supported today!

Hey boy, don't you think 7 am is too early for a swim?

Rumor is B.'s traded it's swimming suit for bike's gear after 1:07:13 in the water.

So the only real question remaining: will B. break again the 11 hours mark? Clock is ticking!

Spotted: A., B. & C. entering the underground world of La Esquina

On Kenmare Street in SoHo, a neon sign reads "corner" above a mexican deli, but that’s just a colorful ruse....Behind the door marked "Employees Only lies La Esquina...

Down a harshly lighted staircase, along a corridor with kitchen supplies, through the kitchen itself, and into the contrived darkness of the vault where a welling crowd is waiting at the bar...

This is the passageway to über trendy downtown restaurant La Esquina, where stylishly underdressed groups of hypsters fill a dungeonlike space with candelabras and barn wood floor.

What better place to spend the evening after a long day at the beach for the classic american Fourth of July Barbecue?

Happy Independence Day!

Spotted: B & C in the Hamptons

No cruise on a 60ft boat this week-end for B. and C. - it's the crisis for God's sake! - so where could they have been on this sunny afternoon?
While C. was sunbathing on a beach in Long Island, guess what B. had found a few miles away?
A nice plane, and he was delighted to jump out of it!
Who said that the Hamptons were all about Yacht club and polo match?!!!? As long as you have a nice beach and the beautiful people that go with it...
Be careful UpperEastSiders, your 5000 sq ft house in east hamptons may be a little overpriced...

B. spotted by the New York Times

On the Upper East Side, all the world's a stage, and B. is definitely a player. Spotted by Bill Cunningham, for a fashion article! Well done little B., congrats for your first step in celebrity fashion!

Spotted @ The Box

What's this? B & C crashing into one of the most shocking, decadent cabaret of New York City.
They say it's not over until the fat lady sings, but yesterday night, the ending song was all about the naked lady and a provocative performance. But how come it was already 4 am? Sorry to break it to you B., but you have a tough day at work tomorrow. Don't you ever sleep little Frenchy?

NY Spots reviewed by C

After more than 6 months spent in the City, it is now time for C’s ranking of New York hype clubs:

1. Kiss & Fly

Pro: Best Music, live percussions and saxo

Cons: Quite young audience, very crowded (too many tables on the dance floor)

2. Pink Elephant

Pro: Live music with Tam-tam Guy, great place, nice doorman

Cons: seems to open later than other places, not very fun before 1am

3. Bungalow 8

Pro: Best decor, lounge, music, a piece of summer within the winter. Loved that!

Cons: Don’t know why, but it looks like it’s not anymore a trendy place. Is 27th street too crowded?

4.Greenhouse

Pro: Amazing place, “eco-friendly”, great music, live saxo guy, great dancing spots

Cons: Can’t really find one

5. Tenjune

Pro: doorstaff not too much into blond skinny girls with mini-skirts, great DJs (thank you for the Tetris-Remix)

Cons: Very crowded, young audience

6. Cain

Pro: South African décor, nice bar, nice music, people dance on table/couches

Cons: Eveyone keeps telling me that it was better before… will never know!

7. Marquee

Pro: 2 rooms, 2 different music styles,

Cons: A little bit too big! Full of wanabees… 4 bucks to check a coat, what’s the f*?

8.Guesthouse

Pro: Good music

Cons: Strange people inside

9. Ultra

Pro: Less exclusive, and more people there for fun, not just to be seen, everyone's dancing on the tables non stop

Cons: Some trash girls

10. Mr West

Pro: Great design outdoor wall.

Cons: Interior just normal

Other “night” places:

RDV: Neo baroque lounge, VERY expensive, hard to get in! Intimidating as almost all girls look like models.

Butter: Great restaurant (somehow pricey), amazing décor, nightlife (only week-ends)

Apt: huge apt, lounge, loved having a cocktail on the bed.

Boucarou: Restaurant/Nightlife, unpretentious, nice spot in East Village!

To Do List: Bijoux, Mansion, The Box!

Closed door: Beatrice Inn, please let me Inn! Don’t know how to handle the “private party” answer. Any invitations more than welcome.

Spotted: Crisis time in NYC... and a nice evening @ Bungalow 8

With Wall Street crashing, is this the end of the potted palm trees and notoriously hardcore door at Bungalow 8 on the now (too?) crowded 27th street? Didn't see anybody order helicopter service that night...

People used to go crazy trying to hail a cab at 3am in Chelsea. But now that more than 15,000 finance jobs have been lost in the city, things feel different. How about trying the subway for a change?

Time to swap your limo for an MTA elevator, lonely girl.

Spotted: J. and A. crash-landing in NYC

Pop quiz. What do you get when you cross bottle service, Chelsea, C. and a few frenchies on holiday in NY ?

Forgetting and more forgetting. Living with an impossible goal. If only Mozart had lived in nyc. But you can keep your magic flute Amadeus. All these people want is to give some sense to their life.

XoXo

Spotted: B. running

While C. was still in bed hitting the snooze button, B. had a rude awakening when he took the 4-train this morning.

What freakishly beautiful weather at the Bronx Half-Marathon! But don't waste your time B., the clock is ticking and you need to make it under the 1h22' mark.

XoXo, B.

Spotted B.&C. for a never ending night @ Chelsea

Pop Quiz. Where do you go to meet rich and beautiful people enjoying themselves? Meatpacking district, guys! Bagatelle is a must, especially for little Frenchies missing French food.

You should never leave Bagatelle without spending a moment @ RDV, the ultimate lounge-experience. Is it really true that all the girls are blonde in New York City?

Looks like the night was not over yet. B.&C. showed up at the last hip, small and loungey club of the City: Mr West!

B., did you want to make it up for an upcoming lousy Valentine's Day?

Spotted @ Butter

B . & C. finally hitting ground in New York night spot butter.

A translucent wall, a forest of birch trees, and finally they discover B.W.'s hot club. But you don't know how the night ended... and I won't tell so you will have to guess...

XoXo, B.

Spotted: Upper-East Siders swimming in TriBeCa

Sometimes you need to step outside, clear your head and remind yourself of who you are. And where you wanna be.
As for us, we're happy right where we am. Sipping champagne in the water at a surprise pool party. xoxo ...

Spotted: B & C heading for Hunter Mountain

When it comes to snow, the rule is "Take your gear and leave town." After all, the Upper East Side is only two hours away from a lovely day on ski slopes. Provided you leave your Manolo at home and don't have an hangover from last night at Marquee.
Sorry Monoski Boy. Don't say we didn't try to warn you. But the 80's are so DEAD !
